MEL ADYS

Mel Adys’ music tells what she can’t say with words. Inspired by her idols Janis Joplin, Beth Hart, Selah Sue and Asaf Avidan, her tracks are rooted in rock and blues. Mel Adys uses her powerful organic ragged voice as a way to express her inner doubts and difficulties to cope with everyday life. She contrasts such feelings with modern arrangements and atmospherical flute lines, deeply influenced by cinema.

Mel Adys began her own musical journey in 2024, after more than 10 years on the road as a professional musician. She has released several singles and live sessions with local talented artists from Toulouse and Bordeaux, south of France, where she lives. She also releases every month a cover song from a film she loves. Many things are coming in 2025. Mel Adys will come on stage to present her debut EP, « Magnetic Circus », that is to be released in June. Then, a second EP, « Mel Adys’ cinematic covers » will be out in summer, along with her first music video, « Revenge ».
